Whew. It has been a busy, stressful, exciting and productive eight months. Jeez, eight months. Yes, yes, I know. If the Saddle Fits...

If The Saddle Fits… When I first moved to Gallifrey I knew I was unhappy with the saddle I had purchased (and fitted) for William. It fit his back well, yes, but it fit me very poorly. Quality Over Quantity

The weather here in Savannah has been a little kooky lately. Just this week alone we've had lows in the 20s but some highs in the 60s and today a few minutes of snow flurries! Though the weather may be unpredictable the training must go on! William and I have had a break from showing since November. At first not having somewhere to be every weekend tends to be nerve wracking for me. And We'll All Float on Okay

The past week has been full of new things for Hagrid. I introduced the side reins to him, which after a bit of chewing on the bit I was surprised how quickly he accepted them. Now, keep in mind when I say accept I don't mean within moments lift his back, round his neck and step up to the bit. He simply didn't throw a hissy fit with one side rein attached to the bit. Staying Positive

There are days, like today, where I get a frustrated with how my horses are going. It felt easier last week, suddenly things that worked before aren't working now or that wonderful feeling I just had is gone and I cannot find it again. Regionals Recap

I like big butts and I cannot lie.
